Let’s Make Bread!
This is my favorite, go to bread recipe! It makes four loaves! It’s quick, easy and you can even freeze the extra loaves for those times that you just don’t have time to make it! I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!

Sandwich Bread
Ingredients
- 2 packages yeast or 5 tsp.
- 4 cups lukewarm water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1 Tbs. salt
- Approximately 9-10 cups flour
Directions
- Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large bowl or mixer. Add sugar, oil, and salt. Then let stand for 5 minutes.
- Stir in flour one cup at a time until soft, easy to handle dough forms.
- Knead for 10-15 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Let Rise for one hour or until double in size. (The room temperature can make it take longer or go faster)
- Punch down, releasing all the gas bubbles formed.
- Oil 4 loaf pans, then shape your dough into 4 equally loaves.
- Allow to rise for another hour or again double in size.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.
